Yes! I finally got my Google Adsense PIN after months waiting and having to request it several times (Philippine postal system really sucks).

Now I can withdraw the money I got from running Google Adsense on my blogs. It’s still small but considering I barely update this blog anymore I’m quite happy with it. This June I’m really gonna make a concerted effort to blog on a regular basis and try to make some serious dough from Adsense
March 26th, 2008 — Googel, Google
Did you know that Googel is a commonly search word on Google ? Nope it’s not because of the sesame street character named Googel but rather people mispell Google and turn it into Googel.
I do wonder though why they still have to search for Googel if they are already in the Google search page. Are people so lazy nowadays to type in the complete URL ?
Would Google still be cool if it was spelled Googel ? Would they be dominant in the search industry if they had a different name ?

Interesting rumor about Google possibly offering Paid Reviews. With Googel dominating the online advertising market I’m sure they are constantly looking for ways to expand their revenue by going into different avenues.
Some points on why Google would do this:
-
- Publishers - Google already has a amazingly huge database of publishers.
- Advertisers - Nobody has no online advertisers then Google AND now they they have taped into the news, magazine and radio network they have access to tap even more advertisers on the shoulder to pay for reviews of their service.
- Blogger - Googel already owns the biggest blog network in the world and they seem to already have a relationship with wordpress for easy implementation of Googel AdSense on wordpress.com (that would make sense anyway).
- Metrics - Between Google toolbar, Adsense, and Pagerank data Google has by far the best metrics to price a site for a review. They already use these metrics for Adwords in selling contextual ads and links.
- Googel has pretty much destroyed ReviewMe and PayPerPost (the competition) and launching there own seems like it would solve all of their problems. The big issues Googel had with paid reviews was the linking issue and now they can control all of that PLUS get a chunk of the revenue.
So what do you guys think will it happen ? And if so, what does this do to ReviewMe (probably kill them) ?
