Check out this Kobe and Lebron Puppet Commercial Yuotube Vedio. It’s hilarious. Not sure though if the projected Kobe and Lebron NBA Finals showdown is going to happen as both teams are faltering at the moment. Kudos to the Nuggets and Magic though for giving us two competitive conference finals.

Coming off the heels of the hugely successful viral vedio of Kobe Bryant jumping over a moving Aston Martin is another vedio of Kobe Bryant. This time he’s jumping over a pool filled with snakes.

I would have preferred it if he actually jumped into the pool and not over it, then ate all the snakes. After all he’s the Black Mamba. Oh well we can’t have everything…

Wow what a game, the Lakers came back from a 17 point deficit early in the game to take the lead at the end of the 3rd quarter and eventually finishing off the San Antonio Spurs. I’m quite impressed with this young Lakers team, they could have easily said "screw this, we have two more chances to take out the Spurs" but they buckled down to work, played hard nosed defense and got rewarded. Kudos of course to Kobe for a phenomenal 4th quarter, he’s not the MVP for nothin’.

Found this at the PInoyexchange forums, no wonder Bowen sticks like glue to Kobe. It’s not that he wants to play defense, he’s got the hots for The Black Mamba…

Looks like the Spurs pulled it off again, beating the Hornets at their homecourt in game 7 and setting up a Lakers vs Spurs Western Conference Finals. I wonder how David Stern is feeling right now ? On one hand he could have his dream matchup of Lakers vs Celtics (will a new Lakers vs Celtics game come out if this happens?) on the other hand his worst nightmare - a Pistons vs Spurs championship can become a reality, yikes what a snoozefest that would be…

Remember Latrell Sprewell ? Well it seems he’s fallen into hard times, I just love how karma works sometimes. In case you don’t know Latrell Sprewell is a former NBA player who refused a a $21 million contract because “he’s got a family to feed” (read: I’m greedy and want more money). He held out thinking that another team would sign him up for more money unfortunately for him no one did. Now his yacht is being repossessed and his home mortgage. Wonder what Spree’s family is saying now ?

One interesting tidbit in the article is that 60% of NBA players go into hard times five years after they retire. Just goes to show the old adage it’s not how much you earn but how much you save is so true…

I can’t believe it, the Suns traded Shawn Marion for Shaquille O’Neal. This could either be big for the Suns or (most likely) a dud. I think they could have gotten a better deal than this, not headline grabbing but much better from a basketball and financial perspective. Not to mention the Suns might not be as fun to watch anymore… Looking forward to Suns vs Lakers in the playoffs then Lakers vs Celtics in the finals… yeah!

Wow just read the news, Pau Gasol moving to the Lakers. Who would have thought Mitch Cupcake would have the capacity to do this ? Long live the cupcake!
